East Coast (31 january - 13 february 05) Thailand: unbelievable country! First timer for mike, 4th or 5th time for yvoine, but still, Thailand welcomes us like no other country we have been to! Mozaic of colours, explosions of smiles, burst of laughter, energy and enthusiasm from the people we meet, eagerness to talk and know more, smells that saturate your senses, and multi-facet sounds, mysterious and delicious food... Thailand welcomes us like new friends, eager to meet us. Follow us through those 2 weeks spent between the Malaysian border and Bangkok that saw us go through 2, even 3 milestones: 1- our first 1000km 2- followed a few days later by our reaching 2000km 3- and the beggining of a new (chinese) year - year of the rooster! |
